Chicken Parm Bake Ziti

Once of my husband's favorite!! & Its super easy to make! I got the recipe from one of my iPhone apps.

Ingredients:
1.5 lbs of Chicken (cut into little "nuggets")
1 cup bread crumbs (I use the "Italian blend")
1/2 cup grated parm cheese (or more if you please)
1 egg
1/4 cup of milk
1 jar pasta sauce
1 lb ziti noodles
Shredded cheese for topping



Directions: (with photos to help)
1. Get a skillet and heat about a tsp of oil over medium heat.& Pre heat oven to about 350
2. Prepare chicken for frying.
Coat chicken in the egg/milk mixture (this will help the bread crumb mixture stick)


Place chicken in bread crumb/cheese mixture 

 3. Fry chicken in pan until golden brown on both sides (about 2-4 minutes). Once golden brown, remove from heat and place chicken on paper towel to soak up any extra oil.
You can use either "nuggets" of chicken or whole chicken breast cooked in the oven

4. Boil the ziti noodles as instructed by the package
I just used 1 lb for my husband & I (this allows us to have leftovers for lunch the next day)
You can increase or decrease amount according to your family.

5. Place cooked noodles in a casserole dish, mixing pasta sauce in with it. (Again add or subtract amount of sauce according to your preference) Add the chicken and mix it all together.
Almost done!!
6. Sprinkle some cheese on top, and place in oven for about 5-10 minutes (Just enough time for cheese to melt and to re-heat everything together.

In total this usually takes me about 40 minutes to cook. I usually do the noodles and chicken at the same time. As mentioned before, you can use "nuggets" of chicken or whole chicken breast. You could even layer the noodles and chicken much like lasagna.
